Playtesting Pauper EDH Decks on Moxfield

Moxfield is one of the best sites you can post a Magic the Gathering Decklist on! It has an accessible interface, it supports Pauper EDH, and most important of all, it has an amazing gameplay simulator in its playtest feature. This will be a quick step-by-step guide on how to playtest your decks on Moxfield.

First, you'll need to make a Moxfield Account by clicking "Register".

Fill out your information.

Confirm your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox.

Once you've made your account, click the purple "New Deck" button at the top right. Enter a deck name, pick Pauper EDH as the format, and choose your commander. If you already have an existing deck list, paste it in. If you don't have an existing deck list, I recommend reviewing the article Building Your First PDH Deck. Finally, click "Create".

To add cards into your deck list, click in the search bar and enter a card name.

For cards that you can have more than one of, click on the number to the left of the card name and enter a different number.

Once you have a deck you want to try, it's time to go to the "Playtest" tab.

Click the orange "Draw" button for the first turn and for draw effects.

Play cards from your hand using the menus in the top left of a card.

Click the blue "Next Turn" button to untap your lands and draw a card.

When a card is on the battlefield, use the menu in the top left of a card to tap it or move it to other zones.

That's all there is to it! Now you can playtest your decks as much as you'd like.

Moxfield's playtest feature will give you a good idea how you deck functions. If you run into a metaphorical wall and want deckbuilding advice, check out the Deck Help channel on the PDH Homebase Discord.

Best of luck playtesting your Pauper EDH Decks on Moxfield!
